In October 2002, Patrick McGee established a tarmacadam manufacturing plant at Tomgarrow, Adamstown, Co. Wexford, namely Wexford Tarmac Ltd. with office at Ardinagh, Taghmon, Co. Wexford.

The company currently employs 3 full-time plant operators.

Over the past 2 years, the macadam output of the plant has doubled and is estimated to reach the maximum capacity of the plant in the next 2 years.
